What we love doing

We have over 70 employees in England & Ireland. They work to meet the highest standards of perfect sound in keeping with the customer’s individual needs. We love engaging with our customers directly: via our excellent application service team on the phone, or on location at concerts, audio productions and consumer events. Only with this direct and frequent contact can we ensure we continue to learn about our customer’s true demands and live up to our vision of offering outstanding sound performance to meet all individual requirements.

These successes would not be possible without a team that really cares passionately about the perfect sound. Before joining Sennheiser, many of us had a background in professional audio or were musicians ourselves. Many of us are still pursuing our passion in music as a hobby while playing in a band, recording at home studios or providing audio services for local venues. In England, we are proud that our talents, passion for perfect sound and ongoing technical improvements have been rewarded with personal and corporate success.

Our commitment extends to other things besides business. We support charitable projects, sponsor cultural institutions like the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA) and put great importance upon partnerships with local institutions and industry leaders. We also have established a strong reputation in ‘higher education’ throughout the United Kingdom, and regularly offer Q&A sessions with professionals from the music industry to the ‘future industry stars’. Various retail trade events give our customers the opportunity of comparing their headphones with Sennheiser’s equipment. We also organise social media events, and tour the country to convince customers of the benefits of Sennheiser technology.

Our values, focus upon customer experience and our passion have driven our success and reputation in the market. This reflects in our staff as well. With over 800 years of service to Sennheiser within our UK staff and a constant influx of new staff, we have shown we are an employer of reference whom shows great respect and regard to our staff and develops people to help them exceed their goals.

Where we have roots

Today Sennheiser operates in more than 50 countries. Together with 19 subsidiaries and long-standing trading partners, the company sells innovative products and future-oriented audio solutions which are optimally tailored to customers’ needs. This enthusiasm for audio technology is shared by some 2,750 employees worldwide who work for the family-run company, which was established in 1945. Our global headquarters is located in Wennebostel, Germany, a small village close to the northern German city of Hanover. Our Wennebostel production facilities proudly meet the highest technical standards in the production of microphones, wireless transmission technology, conference and tour guide systems, high quality headphones and headphone transducers and monitor systems.

Where we are at home

Sennheiser UK was founded in October 1990, and we were delighted that many of you joined us in our 25 year anniversary celebration. We have found a home in the historic and charming Thames side town of Marlow, Buckinghamshire. The town is favourably situated in strategic terms, charming and close to the hilly landscape of the Chilterns, 50 kilometres west of London, surrounded by a natural conservation area. Working from here, we also manage business for Sennheiser’s branch in the Middle East, based in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Being located in the countryside, yet close to London – one of the largest entertainment markets in the world – equips our team with the right inspiration to provide the perfect sound for our customers, every day and every minute, all year round.
